Welcome, fellow dreamers and seekers of adventure! I’m Beth Connor, a lifelong reader, writer, and creator of worlds. In a past life, I was a dance instructor and choreographer. Now, I’ve shifted my passion for storytelling into an exciting array of narratives. You’ll find my tales in the form of novels, short stories, poetry, podcasts, and even enchanting yarns spun around a crackling campfire.
I find joy in balance and love both the simple and profound things in life. Enjoying the giant cedar tree in my backyard, the cheerful company of my three loyal dogs, or 5am writing sessions, are all part of my routine. At the heart of it is my family - my husband and our two ever-young-at-heart adult children - our shared love of adventure makes life a beautiful journey.
One of my passions is understanding the intricate fabric of human cultures, myths, and religions. It’s a fascination that is also reflected in my love for writing. I am also an avid gamer - whether it’s board games, tabletop, role-playing, or computer games. Each offers a unique portal into new experiences and interesting things to write about.
I was born in New Hampshire, and now a happy resident of the Pacific Northwest. My fascination with storytelling started much earlier. When I was 8, I penned letters to Stephen King and local linguist Richard Lederer, asking them to mentor me. While Mr. King sadly missed out on the opportunity, Mr. Lederer graced my elementary class with his presence.
My published works are: Hollow City, Micah and the Candles of Time: The Isdralan Chronicles, and Whispers in the Mycelium. And, as the owner of Wolf Grove Media, LLC, I have a platform to amplify diverse voices and stories, a responsibility I cherish.
Looking ahead, I am excited to share Prodigy of Flame, the forthcoming book in the Isdralan Chronicles, and The Golden Gull, an anthology from the same universe.
I invite you to join me on this grand journey. Let’s embark on these adventures together, diving headfirst into worlds waiting to be discovered. Shall we begin?
